Untruthful Media?

Greg Pierce reports something that needs repeating in his “Inside Politics” column for The Washington Times:

Not so 'undecided'

All six "undecided voters" who questioned Democratic presidential candidates during Thursday night's debate on CNN have been identified as Democratic activists, according to directorblue.blogspot.com.

CNN had touted the "undecided" questioners as "ordinary people," but they actually were a Democratic Party bigwig, an antiwar activist, a union official, an Islamic leader, a staffer for Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and a radical Hispanic separatist.

Sounds like situation normal to me! I've been assisting in political campaigns for about forty years and it's always been rather understood that the mainstream media hacks are very liberal and are naturally going to do all they can to help the Democrats. Many of them lie and cheat as much as the politicians.

An extension of the newsletter

Writing and publishing a weekly newsletter can be quite a chore, especially when there are many thousands of subscribers and only one person working on this end. Just maintaining the database of subscribers quickly becomes rather time consuming.

So, perhaps the blog is the answer. It seems to work for many others, in that there must be many thousands of active blogs nowadays. One problem, though, as I see it, is how to keep the same level of readership. That may be difficult.

Nonetheless, it's surely worth a try. Therefore, my intention here will be to present a daily dose of short commentary on the news along with a few standard op-ed type articles. If there is enough interest, perhaps this blog will be expanded to become a direct replacement for the old Fiedor Report newsletter.
