Writing and publishing a weekly newsletter can be quite a chore, especially when there are many thousands of subscribers and only one person working on this end. Just maintaining the database of subscribers quickly becomes rather time consuming.
So, perhaps the blog is the answer. It seems to work for many others, in that there must be many thousands of active blogs nowadays. One problem, though, as I see it, is how to keep the same level of readership. That may be difficult.
Nonetheless, it's surely worth a try. Therefore, my intention here will be to present a daily dose of short commentary on the news along with a few standard op-ed type articles. If there is enough interest, perhaps this blog will be expanded to become a direct replacement for the old Fiedor Report newsletter.
